  Einstein Bagels e-mails reduced price bagel coupons to me almost weekly. There are two Einstein Bagel locations in the Des Moines metro. Every time I go to Einstein Bagels to redeem the coupons, they will not scan on the computer cash register. The employees must give me a dozen or more 10 cent off discounts to get the price down to the coupon price. The cashier always apologizes and says Einstein Bagels do not load their coupons into the Caribou Coffee computer. I like the bagels and coffee but it is irritating to try to redeem a coupon at either of these local shops.

  Takes forever and they can never get my order right. Ever. Granted I make up my own breakfast sandwich and I suppose can be confusing but if you don't understand what I'm asking for, please ask and double check! Also just not very friendly.

  It's a very trendy place with good bagels and coffee. It's better than wading through hipsters and soccer moms at Starbucks but sometimes I would like a simple store without all the hype and glamour.
